Saturday Is Here. It's A Vine Day

Yes Today Was Indeed Different
Yes Almost a month ago I had started to invest in Pulses and stock up on spices ready for cutting out the meat and not turn into massive man with not smoking. The brand as well was just an idea, whoa how things have changed.

So The Cold

I had let a cold come in Friday Night, I do not know about you, but I notice the moment it comes in. It is a sneeze, yes that simple. You sneeze from pepper and many other things and life is good, alas when it is the phantom cold you can feel it enter the blood stream. I had done everything I could on Friday night. Plenty of liquid, hot shower, honey and lemon, plus aspirin and a early night. The sad thing is that once the phantom cold is in it is not going to go for a few days. Keep it's control was the battle now. So after taking the children to their mothers, I opened the windows, stripped the bed got the pillows airing and took another shower. all this activity had left me on a bit of a buzz.

Then Vine Walked In

Yes I got a reply form one of my vines from #Northernvinemeet and a mighty fine time of fellow Viners from the UK. Brilliant I got vining chatting and the day was going well. Had been healed by a group in #Ivybridge that day as well, so all was going good. Great people.  Then alas the rain started to pour down and good old #thecharleslloyd suddenly remembered just how bad he was really feeling and the wet shoes were not helping. (Charles you are sounding a ham here) good point.
Just giving you the idea here that I was having a great day doing stuff and had a cold.

The 40 Days Thing

Smoking Fine due to bad throat, that was not an issue. Meat was as I usually enjoy a hot curry to fix a cold. Not happening, so made a spicy chowder.
Booze: Again I would normally have a few large Brandies or Rum's, alas this was not on the cards, Lemon tea with honey and plenty of it was the plan, just as I say on the post below.

So the day started off OK, took a mid day high and rapidly took a nose dive by bed time, but I stuck with the program.

Thank you for reading. More Later.
